Qualcuno aveva avuto la stessa idea di Sartorialist, un secolo prima. Il fotografo e cartoonist Edward Linley Sambourne (1844-1910) immortalava le passanti, scegliendole per il loro look nell’Inghilterra edoardiana, per la storica rivista Punch. (Poi morì cercando un sito web dove pubblicarle). Qui l’articolo.
